Evelyn Grace Academy opened in September 2008, providing 180 places for Year 7 students. In our first year, 2008/9 the academy was located in high quality, purpose-built temporary accommodation on Somerleyton Road. From September 2009, the academy’s two small schools will each be based in their own space, the Evelyn School on Somerleyton Road and the Grace School on our new Shakespeare Road site. From September 2010, all pupils will move into our brand new permanent academy buildings on Shakespeare Road. We will admit a new Year 7 intake each year, growing to be a full-sized secondary school with its own sixth form.
